About a month ago Mrs Core mentioned she could really do with a spa day….mani…pedi…massage… and something called a cucumber treatment. But as she has been burning the midnight oil at work, she never booked herself a day.
So yes, I got the idea in my head that I could give her spa day. No, I didn’t book her into of those fancy Palm Springs spa’s with the Fabio type masseuse. I got old guy skillz and the google…I got this. So I spent a month on the google researching how to give the perfect french manicure, facial masks, hot oil massage, warm stone massage, waxing everything. Did find even one mention of a cucumber treatment….no.
Figuring I was ready, I surprised her with her spa day today. Started her with pedicure, (this have been doing for years by the way), did a spectacular job with the french manicure. Managed not to get any of the facial stuff in her hair (hey this is something). Expertly waxed everything that required waxing. Ya, I got skillz. Moved onto to the massage. Oils. Warm stones. Firm hands. Well needless to say she had the full spa treatment.
I am pretty sure she liked it but if she books another spa day I really gotta figure out this cucumber treatment thing. Wonder if Knocks knows?
I just hope she remembers us Fabio masseuse types work for tips…..
